CLIENT: After working on a project with us in Oxford, HAB Housing, an architecture company owned by Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud, approached the team for help with their development on the outskirts of Winchester.
PROJECT BRIEF
The houses and small neighbourhoods created by HAB Housing respect their local context and biodiversity, have strong roots in history, landscape and the community, as well as being both beautiful and sustainable.
They wanted to continue this theme through Lovedon Fields, where each home was being constructed using an efficient timber frame.
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with the architects to design bespoke modern staircases using European oak, which was completely unique to us. They feature striking wooden balusters to give the space a modern and stylish look; blending superbly with the contemporary interior of each home.
The finished result was exactly as we'd hoped, creating a durable oak staircase with a distinctive wood grain. We're proud of our contribution to this impressive and environmentally conscious development and look forward to working alongside HAB Housing in future projects.
