Raising the Standard: Our Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Multi-Turn is proud to announce that we have officially achieved ISO 9001: Quality Management System and ISO 14001: Environmental Management System certifications, reinforcing our commitment to our customers and their projects.

For more than three decades, we’ve been producing timber staircases that builders can rely on, not just for craftsmanship, but for the confidence that comes in working with a trusted supply partner.

That’s why achieving ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) accreditation is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

This isn’t simply about meeting a standard. It’s about setting one. ISO isn’t a one-off certificate or a box to tick. It’s a strict, ongoing process. Our systems, our products, and the way we operate are independently inspected and audited every year. That continual scrutiny keeps us accountable and ensures we’re always working at the highest possible standard; giving you complete confidence in your supply partner.

How these accreditations benefit you

Every staircase you receive will arrive on time, and be compliant with all relevant Building Regulations and meet or exceed environmental standards.

ISO 9001 gives you the reassurance that we work to the highest of standards with quality control at every step of the journey. It ensures that our systems are consistently audited, improved and aligned with the highest industry benchmarks.

ISO 14001 reflects our responsibility to the environment and the communities we work in. It’s proof that we manage our impact carefully, support our customers’ BREEAM targets, and provide the documentation they need to meet their own compliance goals.

These accreditations give our customers one less thing to worry about. When you choose Multi-Turn, you’re choosing a supply partner that takes quality and environmental responsibility as seriously as you do.

More than just an accreditation

Our ISO certifications are part of a much bigger sustainability journey, because ISO demands continuous improvement and it pushes us to keep investing in smarter, safer and more sustainable ways of working. We’ve already invested in a number of initiatives that help us work smarter and more responsibly, including:

  • FSC certification for responsibly sourced timber
  • Solar panels at our facility to reduce carbon emissions
  • Advanced extraction system – Timber offcuts are recycled with zero waste, providing energy-efficient workshop heating in winter and free shredded animal bedding
  • Continuous investment in CNC machinery for precision and reduced waste
  • FORS Bronze accreditation for safer, more efficient logistics

These measures work together to strengthen our role as a dependable, sustainable partner for housebuilders, developers and contractors.

Looking ahead

We know that the construction sector is under more pressure than ever to deliver on quality, sustainability, and compliance. By embedding ISO standards into everything we do, we’re making it easier for our customers to meet their targets and to do it with confidence.

For us, this is just the beginning. Achieving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a commitment to continuous improvement. It means always asking how we can do things better, smarter and more sustainably. The regular audits that come with ISO certification ensure that our progress never stalls and it holds us to a cycle of consistent review, refinement and improvement, exactly what the industry now expects from responsible suppliers.
