CLIENT: At their new development, Thakeham Homes were building a selection of stylish, high quality homes. They approached Multi-Turn to produce the softwood stairs required across the site.
PROJECT BRIEF
Thakeham Homes is renowned for the unique character of their homes in sought-after locations, giving them the well-earned accolade of 5-star builder status from the Home Builders Federation.
In order to uphold their reputation, Multi-Turn needed to produce the stairs for their new development that would reflect their style and quality.
OUR SOLUTION
As always, we began our comprehensive journey with an initial site survey, where our projects team gathered measurements using the latest technology to ensure the stairs would fit first time and comply with building regulations.
It was agreed that the stairs should reflect the simplicity and understated elegance of the interiors, so softwood and carpeted treads were selected as the perfect solution.
Volume was no problem for us, so the stairs for each plot were completed without delay. They have added a natural and comforting finish to the homes across the site.
We don't often make this type of call, but I felt it was necessary to say thanks for what you are doing for us down at Tadworth. Everyone has been very complimentary about the stairs, saying they're some of the best they've fitted! It's gone really well so far.
Sometimes, I think there is a limit to how low you can go on price. You get what you pay for, and certainly for a manufactured item, I think that is the case.
